He was very punctual and professional from the get go. We had a lovely day that was jam packed with thing from boat trips to cape point and much more. Che himself was incredibly knowledgeable about not only the places we visited but also the history of south African in general. He was so enthusiastic about what he was doing it really made for a great experience for me and my wife. Little detail that made it were when he pulled over after noticing some people on the side of the road with cameras pointed out to the water. We stopped and managed to get a great view of some whales swimming in the cove. I would highly recommend wanderer.

Let me prove my words: we booked a tour to Hermanus to watch the whales but unfortunately we couldn’t leave hotel in time so we were late for our boat tour. High season, everything is fully booked. Che not only calmed us down but he managed to put us on another whale watching tour. Meanwhile he kept negotiating with the company we booked initially (less people on the boat) and he managed to squeeze us into their next tour! So trust me, Che always has a plan for you, he knows how to make it work and he’s all ears to your wishes. He is very flexible in itineraries, our next trip was a wine tasting tour, he was changing the itinerary right during the tour according to our wine tastes and wishes! That’s amazing! I wish he would teach all other tour operators worldwide how to do business 🙂 the best of the best, I’ve already visited 63 countries and can swear I haven’t met better service ever!!! Che knows the best and most beautiful locations to share them with you.
We also did a tour to Langa township - it’s absolutely safe and we were able to see the real side of life there. People there are so kind and friendly, just very poor. It was a deep immersion into their culture, history and traditions. Come and judge on your own, don’t miss this experience.

While planning, Che (the owner) was very attentive to what we wanted, suggested other sites that we may want to see and actually communicated with us, often. He and his team went out of their way to ensure that everyone had a great time, sometimes changing the itinerary slightly because we were off-schedule. Che personally saw that my husband and I were taken care of, at a moment's notice, on our 9 hour lay-over back through Cape Town a week later. Wanderer elevated our first Cape Town experience! - I can’t say enough great things about Che and his team! We had most of our days already planned by Wanderer prior to arriving, but we had one open... read more day to fill and ZERO dinner plans upon arrival. Che sat down with our group in the lobby of our hotel on the first night to discuss our interests. He then filled our open day with activities catered to our interests. He booked dinner reservations for us each night and made sure we had rides to and from dinner. He also shuttled us to some really great bars after dinner and had called ahead to request great seating. Miles was our guide for 2 full days around the cape region, and we had a great time with him as well.

Che consistently went the extra mile for our group, and it made our vacation even better than we could’ve imagined. It took all of the stress out of figuring out where to eat, what sites to see, and how we were going to get there.
