Cape Point Tour Highlights

- CAPE POINT -

Initially thought to be the Southern Most tip of Africa before Cape Agalhus took its spot. Cape Point forms part of the Table Mountain Nature Reserve and offers visitors a selection of natural landscapes, flora and fauna as well as wildlife.

- BOULDERS PENGUIN COLONY -

Home to around 3000 african penguins, boulders beach offers visitors the opportunity to get up close to these amazing creatures. Surrounded by 540 million year old granite boulders this beach has provided a breading ground which started with just 4 in 1982.

- THE ATLANTIC SEABOARD -

The atlantic seaboard is another breathtaking drive that forms part of this tour. It includes Mouille Point, Green Point, Sea Point, Fresnaye, Bantry Bay, Clifton, Camps Bay, Bakoven, Llandudno and Hout Bay

- DUIKER ISLAND BOAT TRIP -

Duiker Island which is situated just a few minutes from Hout bay harbour offers you the chance to see the home of over 6000 african fur seals. For the more adventurous we also give you the opportunity to go seal snorkling should you wish.

- CHAPMAN'S PEAK -

One of the worlds most scenic Drives. The construction of this road which offers spectacular views throught started in 1915 and with the use of convict labour was completed in 7 years

- MUIZENBURG -

Also known as Surfers Corner Muizenburg is situated on the False Bay Coast. Colourful changing rooms, the more than occasional great white and the surfers make this the perfect photo stop.

Cape Point Tour Itinerary

This Cape Point Tour starts when we pick you up at your hotel and takes you along the Atlantic seaboard which includes Green point, Sea point and Camps bay to name a few before we stop at Hout Bay Harbour. Here we get to explore the harbour and go to Duiker island to view the 6500 African seals that call it home.

A Chapman’s peak drive with 2 breath-taking scenic stops for you to take a few photos and then an optional lunch or wine tasting stop at Cape Point Vineyards. 

We then head to Cape Point Nature Reserve which is the half way point where you will enjoy sightings of baboons, springboks, eland and zebra along with our indigenous plant life the fynbos. Impressive views from the landmark lighthouse, and perhaps a dip in the refreshing seawater can be added to our visit to the Cape of Good Hope.

The return journey to the city-centre along the false bay coast offers just as many breath-taking stops, the most popular of all and a firm favourite among our visitors is  Boulders Penguin Colony and beach which is conveniently the next stop. Simonstown, Fish Hoek, Kalk bay harbour and Muizenburg are just a few of the landmarks offering great dinning, socialising and photo opportunities.
