Which region should we visit — Stellenbosch, Franschhoek or Constantia?

Depends on what you like. Stellenbosch is bigger, older, focused on serious reds and Chenin Blanc — the best all-round option. Franschhoek is smaller, French-influenced, famous for Cap Classique and its restaurants. Constantia is 15 minutes from the city, oldest of all, ideal for a shorter half-day. Wanderer helps you pick.

How many estates can we visit in a day?

Three or four is a comfortable full day. Two or three with a proper lunch and a cellar tour is often more enjoyable than five rushed stops. We plan for depth, not tick-boxes.

Do you include lunch?

Yes — a vineyard lunch at one of the estates is a core part of the day. We pre-book restaurants to match your food preferences (fine dining, family-style, vegetarian, halal, kosher, etc.).

Can non-drinkers and children join?

Absolutely. We arrange non-alcoholic pairings, food-only tastings, cellar tours and family-friendly estates so everyone in the group has a great day. Ask about our child-friendly winelands and non-drinker options.

How long is a typical private wine tour?

About 8 hours door-to-door — pickup 09:00, first estate around 10:00, two morning tastings, lunch, one or two afternoon tastings, back at your hotel by 18:00.

What vehicle do we travel in?

A private Mercedes — usually a GL SUV or V-Class Viano depending on group size — with a Wanderer chauffeur-guide. Bottled water, snacks and Wi-Fi in the car.

Can you ship wines home for us?

Yes. We work with specialist wine shippers who handle export documentation and customs for the US, UK, EU, Australia and beyond. Buying at the estate and shipping is far more reliable than trying to check bottles yourself.
