Why choose us for your Cape Town Tours?
We just recently visited Cape Town for a week for a family vacation, and it was absolutely a memorable one! During planning stage, communication was smooth with Che, and he… read more has been giving us his best recommendations for our interests.
He then assigned Melvin to be with us for the whole period, and boy what a great professional person he was.. I mean, we were with 2 kids (4 & 8 years old) and one needs to be patient with us :).. Che and Melvin then turned out to be our trustable friends in Cape Town.. In one occasion, we also got a chance to say hi to Che’s mom, and that’s nice, we were feeling connected with them.
On one of the days, we also experienced an issue with the main car. And Che quickly replaced it, hence there was no interruption to our vacation. All vacation objectives were met, and even further we were introduced to new places we were not aware before!
In summary, i would highly recommend their services. Yes, they are relatively new compared to other companies. But if you look at the whole package (trust, local knowledge, professionalism, and definitely reasonable pricing!), i believe it’s no brainer to use their services when you visited Cape Town.

BOOK EVERYTHING with Wanderer if you are visiting Cape Town. My friends and I were just in town for a wedding and we needed a car to take us about… read more 2 hours outside of Cape Town. I came across Wonderer and was able to book everything through WhatsApp. We had a 6 seated Mercedes van with the best driver in the world, Andre (who put up with us having had 7 bottles of wine!). He was perfectly on time and super friendly. We then ended up booking a private day tour with Che who took us in a convertible all day to the must-see places in and around Cape Town including Cheetah Outreach, Lions, multiple wine tastings and even gave us some nice drinks in the car. He’s a super down-to-earth guy who gave us a million dollar experience for a price we could really afford. It was our day to tell him what we wanted and he made it work. Felt like we were friends with him for years. Wanderer is the must-book in Cape Town. Super safe, super reliable and all around the best tour I’ve been on (through 63 countries)!!

We have had the most amazing holiday in Capetown. 6 fantastic day excursions with Wanderer Tours. Exploring the Cape Peninsula with its breathtaking views, seal island, wine tasting at 4… read more of the most popular vineyards, Buffelsfontein Game drive where we got to scratch Elsa the lioness, an amazing 10 course lunch at the Strandloper. We were lucky to see numerous animals on our trips plus we got to pet a Cheetah. Then there were 100s of penguins on Boulders Beach. Robben Island and a cable ride up Table mountain. The week ended with an eye opening tour with MC of THE Langa Township where we met some extraordinary people surviving extreme conditions. We learnt how to cook Malay style with Faeeza and shopped at the local spice market with Shireen. Che was our guide for the week. He is an amazing ambassador for South Africa. Nothing was too much trouble and he took wonderful care of us. His passion and knowledge of South Africa and its history is very impressive. We cannot wait to return.

We were looking for a chauffeur for a full day (10 hours) to take us around Cape Point. We found Wanderer / Che’s company through a Google search. Overall, we… read more had an excellent experience with Che (who was super prompt communication wise throughout the booking process as well as with a stream of one-off questions we had afterwards). Our driver, Khaya, was excellent as well — extremely safe and made us feel very comfortable the entire trip.
I know Wanderer is relatively new vs. other chauffeur companies and to be frank, we were slightly nervous given everything we’d been told about road safety issues in South Africa. We spoke for 30 minutes across multiple conversations with Che and got comfortable and Che was so patient with us (probably far more patient than I might even be given the circumstances!). These guys are the real deal and when we go back to Cape Town, we will 100% use them again.
Do yourself a favor and book a private car through Wanderer vs. a group tour bus on one of the million tour agencies in Cape Town and you’ll have a great experience.

Absolutely brilliant experience from beginning to end!
All I knew was that I wanted to treat my boyfriend to visit the wine farms for his first visit to… read more SA and Che took care of the rest! We were fetched on time in a Mustang GT convertible and whizzed to 4 different wine farms before heading off to Hout Bay for an exhilarating speed boat trip out to the seals. Our day ended with cocktails on Camps Bay beach and dinner at Pananga which Che arranged for us at the last minute so that we’d have the best view of the sunset whilst having dinner.
He disappeared when we arrived somewhere and would pop up as we needed something and even managed to get some beautiful photos of us when we didn’t even realise. Absolutely brilliant day!
